The sales of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has already exceeded one million copies on Steam, a couple of days after the official launch.
The numbers come from SteamDB, a satellite site that collects information and data relating to sales and online traffic of games on Steam. It is therefore not an official source but it has always proved to be quite reliable, above all because it actually keeps track of the use of online games.
So according to the calculations made on the basis of this data, it seems that Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam has exceeded one million copies sold and makes this a great success on future Steam collaborations with Xbox Game Studios.
We still await any official data from the dev or publishing team in this regard but it is evident that PC gamers have maintained a great desire of the Halo franchise and are willing to fork out more money as long as it’s on Steam and not the dreaded Microsoft Windows App Store.
Are you part of the million, will you join them? Let us know in the comments.
